Almighty and everlasting God, you have given us your servants grace, by the confession of a true faith, to acknowledge the glory of the eternal Trinity and in the power of the divine majesty to worship the Unity: keep us steadfast in this faith, that we may evermore be defended from all adversities; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
All Amen
First Reading
Romans 8.12-17
12Brothers and sisters, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh—13for if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 14For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. 15For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received a spirit of adoption. When we cry, ‘Abba! Father!’ 16it is that very Spirit bearing witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17and if children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ – if, in fact, we suffer with him so that we may also be glorified with him.
This is the word of the Lord
All Thanks be to God
Gospel Reading
Alleluia, alleluia. Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, one God, who was, and who is, and who is to come, the Almighty.
All Alleluia
Hear the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ according to N.

John 3.1-17

Pounds for Pentecost raised £1933 towards our £4000 shortfall and we would like to thank everyone who donated towards this. We are grateful to you for your generosity.
Prayer list: The names of those who are ill or in need of prayer will remain on the prayer list for three weeks. However, we realise that some people may need to be on for longer and, if this is the case, please speak with Carol Sharman who will be happy to arrange this
Please note that for the foreseeable future, we shall be filming/recording the Sunday morning services that take place in church, which will mean a difference in the time that we are able to offer them online. In order to edit and upload the services to YouTube we shall need extra time and, consequently, the release time will be 6pm.
Hymn
Holy, holy, holy! Lord God almighty!
Early in the morning our song shall rise to thee.
Holy, holy, holy! Merciful and mighty!
God in three persons, blessed Trinity!
Holy, holy, holy! Though the darkness hide thee,
though the eye made blind by sin thy glory may not see.
Only thou art holy, there is none beside thee,
perfect in pow’r, in love, and purity.
Holy, holy, holy! Lord God almighty!
All thy works shall praise thy name, in earth, and sky and sea.
Holy, holy, holy! Merciful and mighty!
God in there persons, blessed trinity!
