Supporting St Mary’s

To maintain our beautiful building and cover the financial casts of the different ministries in the parish we have to raise £7,000 per month This does not include unforeseen building repairs. Our financial support comes from a variety of sources.

Parish Giving Scheme (Regular giving)

Our Parish is registered with the Parish Giving Scheme and as such a regular Direct Debit can be set up online. Please click https://www.parishgiving.org.uk/donors/find-your-parish/burton-latimer-st-mary-burton-latimer/ and select ‘Give Now’ to set up a donation to our Parish. Thank you.

One-Off gifts

If you would like to make a one-of gift this can be made by cash or by a cheque (payable to Burton Latimer PCC, St Marys Church) We also have chip and pin in the church.

Through gift aid we are able to reclaim £2.50 for every ten pounds you donate. Therefore if you do pay tax you can make your donation go further by filling out a gift aid form.

If you have already signed a Gift Aid Declaration to cover regular monthly giving you do not need to sign any further forms but simply tell us that your gift is covered.

Cash or Cheque

If you wish to give regularly by cash or cheque using the envelope scheme please contact our Church Administrator, Shirley or speak to anyone the welcoming team at the back of the Church who will be able to assist you.

Friends of St Mary’s

The Friends of St Mary’s charity was launched in 1998 to help provide funds solely to repair and maintain the fabric of the building.  Some members of the parish who value having a historic building and wish to see it well maintained choose to financially support this charity by direct debit.  To become a friend of St Mary’s please contact the Rector.

As well as becoming a friend of St Mary’s, two major fundraising events take place during the summer months, our Jazz night and Comedy afternoon. Both events regularly sell out.

Legacies for Life

If you would like to leave a donation in your will to the work of St Mary’s church do get in contact with the Rector.
